Hi, I’m Ali!
- Ali Prevost, MScPT, Clinic Owner, Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
I am a Registered Physiotherapist with a special interest and extensive training in pelvic health. I hold a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from McMaster University and have been working in the field for 14 years. My career has taken me from pediatrics, to long term care, to sports medicine. Over these years my passion has become pelvic health physiotherapy. This stream of physiotherapy gives me the opportunity to see meaningful changes in people’s quality of life as they see improvements in their symptoms and abilities that they didn’t think were possible. Many people have unknowingly accepted pelvic symptoms as something they “just have to live with” or their “new normal”. It brings me so much joy to show these people that they don’t have to live with these symptoms and seeing change is easier than they expect.
Through my years of clinical experience and continuous training I have been able to expand my pelvic health services beyond the “basics” of incontinence, to include treatment of more complex conditions, as well as the treatment of men, children, and transgendered people with pelvic health concerns.
I am truly committed to providing up to date care in a safe and compassionate environment. When I’m not at the clinic, or attending the latest pelvic health workshop, conference, or course, you can find me enjoying the outdoors with my family and friends at the lake, on the trails, or in the snow.
